THE DETAILS MATTER

Privacy policy

This policy applies to banbland.com, our customer portal, and information you share with Ban Bland when requesting or placing a print order. Features such as accounts, uploads, and online payments apply when available and when you use them.

Information we collect

  • Contact and account details: your name, email address, company, shipping or billing details, and other information you choose to provide.
  • Project information: products, quantities, sizes, specifications, deadlines, delivery preferences, artwork, proofs, messages, approvals, quotes, and order history.
  • Payment and fulfillment records: payment status, amounts, transaction references, refunds, shipping details, and tracking information. When you pay through Stripe Checkout, Stripe collects your payment details. We do not store your full payment card number or security code.
  • Technical information: IP address, browser and device information, sign-in sessions, and request or error logs used to operate and protect the site.

Only upload files you are authorized to share. Please leave out sensitive personal information that is not needed for your print job.

How we use information

We use information to prepare quotes, communicate with you, manage accounts, review artwork, create and approve proofs, process payments, produce and deliver orders, provide support, keep business records, prevent misuse, and diagnose service problems. Sign-in links and order updates are service messages.

Artwork and project files

Uploaded files are kept in private storage and made available to the customer account and authorized staff through the portal. Staff may use your artwork to prepare proofs and fulfill your order. Uploading artwork does not give us permission to publish it in our portfolio or advertising; we will ask separately for that permission.

We do not currently send uploaded artwork to an external AI service for review. If we introduce that feature, we will explain what is shared and with whom before you use it, and obtain consent where required.

Service providers and other disclosures

We share information as needed with providers that help operate the business: Cloudflare for hosting, security, database and file storage; Amazon Web Services SES for transactional email; Forward Email and our mailbox provider for receiving and handling email; Stripe for payments; and shipping carriers for delivery. These providers may also handle technical or transaction information under their own policies.

We may disclose information when required by law, to respond to a valid legal request, or as reasonably necessary to protect people, prevent fraud, or resolve a dispute. If the business is transferred, customer records may transfer with it, subject to applicable law and notice requirements.

We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and browser storage

The portal uses cookies to keep you signed in and support security. The project builder may save an unfinished draft in your browser’s local storage so you can continue after signing in. The builder checks a 24-hour draft age when you return; this is not a guarantee that browser data is automatically erased after 24 hours. You can clear it through your browser settings.

Blocking cookies or clearing browser storage may sign you out or remove your unfinished draft. We do not currently use advertising pixels on the site.

Retention and security

We keep information for as long as reasonably needed for orders, customer support, account services, and business or legal obligations, including accounting and dispute resolution. Artwork and order history may remain available for future orders until removed. We do not promise automatic deletion on a fixed schedule.

We use access controls, private file storage, and encrypted connections to help protect information. No internet service or storage system can guarantee complete security. Our providers may process information in the United States and other locations where they operate.

Your choices and requests

Email orders@banbland.com to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account information or artwork, or to ask about our privacy practices. We may need to verify your identity. Some records must be retained for legal obligations, completed transactions, security, or disputes. We will explain relevant limitations and handle requests in accordance with applicable law.

Depending on where you live and which laws apply, you may have additional privacy rights. You may exercise applicable rights by contacting us, without unlawful discrimination.

Children’s information

Our ordering services are intended for adults and business customers, not children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can address it.

Policy updates

We will post updates here with a revised effective date and provide additional notice or request consent when required. Our terms of service explain ordering, proof approval, and fulfillment.
